Welcome to Torque Lab Tulsa, where passion meets precision. I'm Sheldon F. Joseph, PMP, the founder. For over 20 years, I've been the guy working in driveways, swapping stories at car meets, and dreaming of a place where the DIY automotive community could thrive without limits.

My journey in the automotive world has always been about more than just machines, it's about the culture, the connections, and the freedom of turning a wrench with your own two hands. Torque Lab Tulsa was born from that simple belief: everyone deserves access to quality tools, expert guidance, and a supportive community to pursue their automotive dreams.

The Backstory: Why I Started Torque Lab

Like so many car enthusiasts, I've lived the struggle firsthand. Between constantly traveling for work, living in apartments, and renting houses, I never had a permanent garage, a lift, or a safe, well-lit place to work on my own Porsches and Pontiacs. I felt the gap: you either pay steep shop rates or struggle in a space not built for the job.

I watched countless aspiring DIYers burn out because they lacked proper facilities and guidance. That's why I started Torque Lab Tulsa, to fill that need. What began as a personal mission to create a safe, inclusive space for mechanics has evolved into a thriving hub for Tulsa's car community. We're here because working on your car shouldn't be a luxury, it should be a right.
